Stories from Enewetak: Ailynn Hensene

Interviews with Elders:

Life was hard in the old days. People used to eat pandanus root, coconut, noni, and unripe young breadfruit. In 1935 war started. One time an airplane arrived to take photos. When the plane flew to Meden, some other airplanes arrived and caused some commotions. The plane got crashed and destroyed when it reached Enjebi. There were about 7 or 8 Japanese who died and so the people buried them.
